People message me about partner codes all the time. Usually the same question: can you avatrade partner code get free trades or lower spreads?
No. AvaTrade doesn't charge commission on forex. You pay the spread. That's the cost. A partner code won't affect it.
Code 128979 unlocks the deposit bonus. Bonus money added to your account based on deposit size. Simple as that.
How much do you get?
$1,000 deposit adds $200.
$2,000 adds $400.
$5,000 to $9,999 adds $1,000.
Deposit $100,000+ and you can get up to $14,000. That's for serious capital.
British traders get £160 bonus on £800 deposits. Top tier reaches £11,200.
You can open an account with $100. Bonus requires $1,000 minimum.
The field is hidden
During registration. Once you've filled in your phone number, look for small text that says "Have a Partner Code?" with an arrow next to it. Click on that text. A text box appears. Type **128979**.
People overlook it constantly because it's hidden.
Sometimes it shows as invalid, don't worry. Go ahead and register anyway. Message your account manager before you deposit. Ask them to add code 128979. They handle this regularly.
You can't withdraw the bonus straight away
There's a volume requirement.
About 10,000 units for every dollar of bonus. A $200 bonus means trading 2,000,000 units before that $200 unlocks. Slower if you're trading micro lots. Active traders hit it quicker than expected.
Your deposit is yours. Withdraw it whenever you want. Bonus funds remain locked until volume is met.
One thing worth knowing: locked bonus funds still contribute to your margin. This lets you take bigger positions. That breathing room helps while you're learning.
